Fall Equinox Yoga Celebration

$0.00

Sunday, September 20
4:30-6:00 PM Pacific

In Studio, Outdoor Deck, Live Stream

Things shift in September around the Fall Equinox. The light changes. The air changes. The energy feels palpably different. When you slow down long enough, you might notice that many things in your life are changing and shifting too.

The Fall Equinox is one of two times in the year when day and night are reaching balance. It's also a natural turning point, the last weeks of summer before the year pivots toward shorter, brisker days. As these shifts happen, it's worth pausing to notice and to ask what has been happening in your life? What are you grateful for? What's ready to be released, and what do you want to carry forward?

We will do that and more in a 90-minute practice that creates space and intention. We'll open with slow stretches and yoga poses before settling into a deeply restorative close. Noting the balance between effort and ease, aPart of Sellwood Yoga’s seasonal tradition, this gathering is a simple way to connect with yourself and with the community. This special extended class begins with a slow flow designed to support mobility, steady the breath, and help you feel more connected in your body. We’ll then switch into a deeply restful restorative practice.
